About the
Association...
Business Professionals of America, Ohio Association, is a
student organization consisting of 18 regions located throughout the state
of Ohio. Each region has a student leadership team that, with the
assistance of advisors, sets the direction of each particular region.
The Ohio Association also has a
student leadership team consisting of a President, Vice President,
Secretary, Treasurer, Historian and Parliamentarian. The State
Leadership Team is responsible for setting and carrying out yearly goals
for the Association. In addition, the team is responsible for
providing two major conferences including the Fall Leadership
Conference, held in November, and the State Leadership Conference, which
occurs in March.
The Ohio Association is the largest
state association within Business Professionals of America with
approximately 9,500 members at the secondary level. While most of
those members are enrolled in their junior or senior year of high
school, freshmen and sophomore students enrolled in business programs
are encouraged to take advantage of the benefits the Ohio Association
has to offer.
