Traveling to NLC in Anaheim, California!

bpa-business-professionals-of-america-2019-nlc-together-we-create-logoThe Ohio Association just wrapped up the 2019 State Leadership Conference in Columbus, Ohio. More than 1,800 students competed in nearly 100 events, for a chance to advance to Nationals in Anaheim, California.  At NLC, members will join nearly 6,000 conference delegates from across the nation to compete in national level business skills.  In addition to competitive events, students interviewed for scholarships finalists for scholarships, screened for National Officer Candidacy, and assisted by volunteering as interns.

As an association, our members donated more than 4,000 hours and $31,000 to Special Olympics Ohio; Earned more the 90,000 torch points and pinned 195 Statesman; Awarded more than 1,000 medals and 200 trophies.

Business Professionals of America is the premier Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for high school, college, and middle school students preparing for careers in business, finance and management information systems and other related fields. The organization’s activities and programs complement classroom instruction by giving students practical experience through application of the skills learned at school. Business Professionals of America has the ability to enhance student participation in professional, civic, service and social endeavors. Members participate in these activities to accomplish goals of self-improvement, leadership development, professionalism, community service, career development, public relations, student cooperation and safety and health.
